
Elon Musk addressed a user’s complaint regarding the drastic reduction in image generation limits for Grok Imagine. In a reply to a post featuring a sad Kermit, Musk pledged to “turn the limits back up.”
Users of Grok Imagine reported that limits had decreased by 80–90% over the past month. Numerous individuals utilizing the tool for video and image creation encountered severe restrictions, even with paid subscriptions.
Musk further mentioned that he departed the xAI office late at night, while the team continued their work.
“Just left the SpaceXAI office around 2:45 AM and people were still working. Think we are close to a major training breakthrough.”
Previously, Musk announced the successful completion of training for the Grok V9-Medium foundational model, which boasts 1.5 trillion parameters. He indicated that preliminary evaluation results appear promising.
Prior to this, Elon Musk stated that Grok Build is improving daily, with the team working seven days a week. In the latest version, Grok Build 0.1.219, engineers have directed their efforts towards resolving bugs associated with terminal operations.
