Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth are set to headline the upcoming action film “The Family Tree.” This project is under the direction of Brad Peyton, whose previous works include “Rampage” and “San Andreas.”
The narrative will focus on Jack Kelly, a disgraced New York police officer. When his wife, Molly, is taken hostage by terrorists within an old armory building, Jack finds himself compelled to seek assistance from the very people he’d least prefer to associate with – his own relatives. To rescue his wife, Jack must forge an alliance with his complicated family.
Principal photography for the movie has commenced. Beyond directing, Brad Peyton also contributed to the screenplay. The action flick is slated for release on the Prime Video platform, though a specific release date has not yet been announced.
It was previously reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, Patrick, will be portraying twin brothers in a new film.
