Richard Gere spoke with People magazine about his 26-year-old son, Homer Gere, who made an appearance in the third season of the hit show “Euphoria.”
The son of Richard Gere from his marriage to Carey Lowell portrayed the character Dylan Reed. In one of the installments, he featured in an intimate scene with Sydney Sweeney.
“I’m proud of him,” the 76-year-old Gere confessed. However, he admitted to not having watched that particular scene from the series yet.
“I still need to catch his episode of ‘Euphoria,’ but he’s got a big project coming up with Ryan Murphy, and he just wrapped a film with Oliver Stone,” the actor shared. “So, I can retire now. I’m passing the baton.”
“He’s really good, first and foremost. He seems to have this supernatural awareness of what he’s doing. And he executes it beautifully. He’s a good kid. A genuinely good young man who understands that acting is not an easy business. Not everyone can succeed in it. That’s why I think he can stick with it,” Richard Gere concluded.
