In the Chinese city of Changsha, a shark attempted to sever the head of an aquarium visitor who decided to swim with it. This information comes from the Daily Star.
A man identified as Bao was participating in an attraction that allows aquarium guests to submerge themselves in a tank with marine life. He stated that the organizers had assured him of the program’s safety. However, shortly after entering the water, the man was attacked by a three-meter-long tiger shark.
As a consequence of the incident, Bao sustained seven deep lacerations and significant head injuries. Aquarium staff swiftly removed him from the water and transported him to a hospital. The management of the facility agreed to cover all medical expenses and offered the man $3,000 in compensation. Nevertheless, Bao indicated that this amount was insufficient, according to the publication.
