A Singaporean resident named Ting brought her fifteen-year-old daughter Anya to a modeling casting session. During the audition, the girl casually mentioned that her mother used to work as a model in China. Intrigued by this, the agency director invited the woman into the hall.
Ting was completely unprepared for the selection process, but she was asked to walk down the runway. In the end, the judges were so impressed by the mother’s appearance and stride that they offered the contract to her instead. Her daughter Anya did not make it into the group of models.
Ting admitted that she had never even considered returning to the profession. The winner shared:
“I simply wanted to support my daughter and help her feel more confident. That’s why everything that happened came as a complete surprise to me.”
