According to the case file, Nichols was arrested twice. The first time was for seducing a student with whom she had sex in a parking lot and in a school restroom. At the time, the teacher was released on bail.
However, during the investigation, forensic experts discovered that there were more victims. Investigators established that the teacher had seduced at least five students, meeting them on a golf course. With some of them, she engaged in explicit conversations via messages or phone calls, describing her sexual fantasies.
After her first arrest, Nichols demanded that the victim delete all correspondence and lie about their relationship during interrogations.
Additionally, investigators found that the teacher ran her own OnlyFans page, which some of her students became aware of. The students began blackmailing her in exchange for good grades.
Police issued over a dozen warrants, including for questioning teenagers and their family members.
According to The New York Post, the predatory teacher was a graduate of the private evangelical Liberty University, which had strict rules prohibiting sexual activity outside of marriage.
