FIFA President Gianni Infantino has stated that U.S. President Donald Trump will take part in the awards ceremony following the 2026 World Cup final. This announcement was made during an interview with Fox News.
According to Infantino, on July 19 he plans to attend the tournament’s decisive match alongside the American leader. After the game ends, they will step onto the stage to present the main trophy to the national team that wins the world championship.
The final will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
