The disruptions to Facebook, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram began around 15:00 Moscow time, as indicated on the platform that monitors internet service failures.
Issues have been recorded among users in the USA, UK, Italy, the Netherlands, and several other nations.
Complaints are being reported regarding mobile app functionality, connection drops, and prolonged server response times.
