Five people have been killed and another wounded, and a suspect in the crime spree has been found dead in the U.S. state of Michigan, the Associated Press reports, citing local law enforcement.
According to media reports, police responded to a shooting at a home, where they found three deceased individuals and one injured person who was taken to the hospital. While searching for the suspect, 39-year-old Chad Hickman, police discovered a fourth victim at another residence.
“Law enforcement officers found Hickman’s vehicle in a wooded area near Whitlock Lake, leading them to his body as well as the body of another deceased person,” the agency reported.
Authorities have not yet released the exact cause of death for the six individuals. Any potential connection between the victims has also not yet been disclosed.
