A new trend called fibremaxxing (from «fiber» + «maxxing») is gaining traction in health circles. The idea is to consciously increase fiber intake by adding more vegetables, legumes, whole grains, fruits, nuts, and seeds to daily meals. Social media, especially TikTok, has amplified this movement, with users sharing recipes like chia puddings, lentil soups, and oat-based dishes. The motivation stems from growing awareness of the benefits of fiber for digestion, satiety, and blood sugar control. However, experts caution against rushing: while fiber is essential, it’s important to introduce it gradually to avoid bloating or discomfort.
