Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev was eliminated in the third round of the Masters tournament in Cincinnati after losing to American Brandon Nakashima. The match, which lasted 2 hours and 51 minutes, ended with a score of 6:7 (3:7), 7:6 (7:4), 6:1 in favor of Nakashima. Medvedev, the seventh-ranked player in the world and fourth seed at the tournament, had a dramatic moment in the first set: when trailing 2:5, he threw his racket at an advertising board, causing equipment damage. Despite this setback, he managed to rally and win the tie-break. However, Nakashima, ranked 22nd in the ATP rankings and seeded 27th, ultimately prevailed.
