The object, dubbed «Treasure Chest» («Сундук с сокровищами»), resembles an open wooden chest with a raised lid. This area is an active region of star formation: the cluster is still enveloped in its natal material, allowing scientists to observe how young stars interact with and alter their surrounding clouds. The infrared capabilities of Webb penetrate the obscuring dust, offering a rare glimpse into stellar birth processes.
