Agency spokesman Nate Herring announced the investigation. The video discussed the possibility of assassinating the youth and offered a $10 million reward.
Herring stated that the U.S. Secret Service is aware of the video and is conducting an investigation. He added that details regarding the intelligence are not being disclosed for operational security reasons.
