Russian tennis player Diana Shnaider and Belgium’s Elise Mertens have advanced to the US Open doubles quarterfinals. In their third-round match, the duo defeated Ellen Perez and Demi Schuurs in straight sets.
The match ended 7–5, 6–3, with the players on court for one hour and 44 minutes.
In the quarterfinals, the Russian-Belgian pair will face the winners of the match between Hsieh Su-wei/Jeļena Ostapenko and Chan Hao-ching/Maya Joint.
