Cristiano Ronaldo, the forward for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr and the Portuguese national team, has topped Sportico’s list of the world’s highest-paid athletes for the third consecutive year.
According to the publication’s estimates, the 41-year-old footballer earned approximately $260 million in 2025. Roughly $200 million came from his salary and on-field earnings, while another $60 million or so was derived from endorsements and other off-field income. Ronaldo led the runner-up on the list by more than $100 million. It comes as no surprise that, over the course of his career, the Portuguese star has amassed an impressive collection of real estate, cars, watches, and other high-value assets.
The CR7 Brand — Valued at €850 million
In 2025, the Portuguese Institute of Marketing and Administration (IPAM) valued Ronaldo’s personal brand, CR7, at approximately €850 million. However, this figure should not be viewed as the valuation of a standalone company that Ronaldo could simply own and sell. Researchers took into account 28 metrics, including the footballer’s earnings, media presence, social media reach, brand recognition, and influence. While the CR7 label does produce clothing, underwear, footwear, and fragrances—and the athlete’s name is used in the hospitality and fitness industries—it is worth noting that the standalone CR7 Underwear line launched in 2013, not 2006 as is often claimed in similar roundups.
Bombardier Private Jet — Approx. $57 million
The most expensive item Ronaldo has ever purchased—by his own admission—is a private jet. And it is not the Gulfstream G650 that the media long reported it to be. In 2025, the footballer revealed that he had purchased a Bombardier Global Express XRS about a year earlier. Forbes valued the upgraded aircraft at approximately $57 million. Its fuselage features a custom black-and-gray paint scheme, a silhouette of Ronaldo himself, and the “CR7” designation. Prior to this, the footballer used a Gulfstream G200, which he had bought in the mid-2010s.
Bugatti Centodieci — around €10 million
The Bugatti Centodieci is considered the most expensive confirmed car in Ronaldo’s garage. Only ten of these hypercars were produced. The new car cost around €8 million before taxes, and by 2026, its market value was estimated at approximately €10 million or more. Under the hood lies an 8.0-liter W16 engine producing 1,600 horsepower, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 2.4 seconds. In the summer of 2026, Ronaldo himself showcased the Centodieci among the cars in his collection.
However, the famous Bugatti La Voiture Noire—priced at €11 million before taxes—never actually belonged to Ronaldo. Rumors to that effect surfaced shortly after the unveiling of the one-off model in 2019, but Stephan Winkelmann, the head of Bugatti at the time, personally denied them. On the other hand, confirmed vehicles in the Portuguese star’s collection include the Bugatti Chiron and Veyron, Ferrari Daytona SP3 and Monza SP1, Mercedes-AMG One, McLaren Senna and Speedtail, Ferrari Purosangue, and other rare cars. The footballer himself has admitted that he no longer remembers the exact number of cars, estimating the collection at around 40 to 41 vehicles.
Mansion in Portugal — up to $30–38 million
One of Ronaldo’s most expensive real estate assets is a large house in the Quinta da Marinha area, near Cascais. The footballer purchased an Atlantic-facing plot for several million dollars and subsequently began constructing a family residence. Various sources estimated the value of the completed project at around €35 million for 2026, while Architectural Digest cited a range of $30 million to $38 million. The complex reportedly features swimming pools, a gym, a home cinema, and a large garage designed to house the footballer’s car collection.
However, Ronaldo no longer owns the apartment in New York’s Trump Tower. In 2015, he paid $18.5 million for the roughly 233-square-meter unit. After spending several years trying to sell it, he finally parted with the property in 2022 for just $7.18 million, incurring a massive paper loss. Ronaldo retains other properties, including a home in Madeira valued at around $8 million, real estate in Madrid, and several apartments in Lisbon.
Girard-Perregaux watch — up to $2 million
Ronaldo’s watch collection is also valued in the millions. One of its most expensive pieces is a custom-made Girard-Perregaux Planetarium Tri-Axial. His version is crafted from gold and almost entirely encrusted with diamonds. It houses a complex tri-axial tourbillon and a miniature, hand-painted globe that completes a full rotation every 24 hours. This unique timepiece is valued at approximately $1.7–2 million.
Ronaldo has also long collaborated with Jacob & Co. The brand officially produces the Epic X CR7 line, and the footballer’s collection includes a unique Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon CR7, featuring a movement that visually mimics the hypercar’s engine. Another famous piece is the gem-encrusted Franck Muller Invisible Setting Imperial Tourbillon, which also are valued at approximately $2 million. As a result, just a few of Ronaldo’s most expensive watches are worth as much as a typical millionaire’s fine collection of supercars.
