PSG secured a resounding 6–1 victory over Slovan in the opening round of the Champions League league phase. The match took place at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
For the French side, Ferran Torres scored a hat-trick, while Ousmane Dembélé netted a brace and provided two assists. Fabián Ruiz scored the Parisians’ other goal.
The visitors’ lone goal came from Souleymane Camara, who beat defender Ilya Zabarnyi before scoring past PSG’s Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.
In the next round of the Champions League on October 14, PSG will face Manchester City away, while Slovan will host Stuttgart on the same day.
