A Delta Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New York made an emergency landing in Albuquerque due to a smell of burning in the cockpit. TMZ reported the incident, citing the Federal Aviation Administration.
On board the Boeing 767 were famous actors Andrew Garfield, Owen Teale, and Nick Robinson, as well as Love Island contestant Dylan Vrona and singer Marc Ambor.
Delta Airlines stated that the flight was diverted due to a “smell of smoke.” The plane landed safely at Albuquerque International Sunport.
The airline apologized to the passengers and promised to quickly arrange their travel to New York. No passengers or crew members were injured.
Owen Teale, star of the show Grown-ish, posted a photo from the scene on Instagram (Meta, the company that owns Instagram, is designated as an extremist organization and banned in Russia). He shared his thoughts on the landing and asked followers for recommendations on interesting places to visit in Albuquerque. In one post, Owen jokingly noted that had a tragedy occurred, the headlines would likely have read: “Andrew Garfield — and other stars.” Nick Robinson posted a selfie with Owen Teale and jokingly referred to them as “survivors.”
