Russian player Karen Khachanov lost the second set of his match against Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the US Open semifinals.
The set lasted 1 hour and 17 minutes and ended 7–6 (9–7) in favor of the world number two.
Both players converted one of their two break points. The tie-break lasted 15 minutes; Khachanov saved two set points.
The Russian had lost the first set 3–6.
