Madonna has become the new owner of Angelina Jolie’s luxurious estate in the prestigious Los Feliz neighborhood. According to RadarOnline, the deal closed in late September with a sale price of $24.75 million.
The singer first showed interest in the property back in August. Madonna’s representatives contacted Jolie’s agents and arranged a private video tour of the home. Since the artist was away from Los Angeles at the time, she viewed the potential purchase remotely.
The estate sits on a plot of nearly two acres within the gated enclave of Laughlin Park. The main mansion spans nearly 1,000 square meters. The house features six bedrooms and ten bathrooms, while the grounds also include a guest house, a separate pool house with a gym, and even a “tea house.”
The property has an impressive history. Built in 1913, the mansion was acquired three years later by the famous director Cecil B. DeMille, who lived there until his death in 1959. He later purchased the neighboring house—once home to Charlie Chaplin—and connected the two buildings with a glass corridor.
Jolie herself purchased the estate in 2017, a year after her divorce from Brad Pitt. Now, the famous home has changed hands and belongs to Madonna.
