The geopolitical rift in the semiconductor and electronics supply chain has deepened significantly due to a severe escalation in the US China tech decoupling. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has officially implemented a strict product testing ban, refusing to recognize certifications issued by Chinese laboratories. Previously, around 175 FCC-approved labs in China handled nearly 75% of all radio-frequency compliance testing for devices sold in the United States. Industry analysts warn that global tech manufacturers will now face doubled financial costs and severe timeline delays, as multinational tech corporations are forced to retest entire product lines in domestic American or alternative international facilities.
