Samsung Electronics has detailed the next major evolution of its mobile software ecosystem, officially revealing the core features of One UI 9 built on the upcoming Android 17 operating system. The massive firmware update introduces an innovative AI Network Guard that dynamically blocks malicious app data traffic to enhance consumer privacy. Additionally, Galaxy owners will gain access to up to 36 highly configurable gesture shortcuts and AI-driven information cards designed to simplify layout navigation. The software rollout is currently targeting recent premium flagship and mid-range devices.
