Researchers in Germany have reported a remarkable achievement after successfully reprogramming blood cells from an 80-year-old donor into neural stem cells that displayed a molecular age of less than 20 years. The study demonstrated that key aging markers can be effectively reset during cellular reprogramming. While the technology remains experimental, experts believe it could provide valuable insights into age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and eventually contribute to regenerative medicine and longevity research.
