The forward for the NHL team “Pittsburgh Penguins,” Evgeni Malkin, has resumed full practice sessions with the squad, as reported by journalist Michelle Crechiolo on the social network X.
Pittsburgh placed Malkin on the injured reserve list on December 9th. Consequently, the Russian athlete missed 15 regular season games. On Friday, Malkin joined his first team practice, appearing on the ice in a non-contact jersey. By Tuesday, he was already working with the main group.
The team’s next match is scheduled for January 8th, where they will face the “New Jersey Devils” on their home ice.
Malkin is 39 years old, and during the current regular championship, he has managed to play 26 contests for “Pittsburgh,” accumulating 29 points, of which:
8 are goals,
21 are assists.
Malkin’s agreement runs until the summer of 2026.
