Strøm is 27 years old. This marks her debut Olympic medal. The Norwegian athlete has previously been a two-time World Champion. Furthermore, she has collected one silver and six bronze medals across various World Championships.
Japanese snowboarder Kira Kimura triumphed in the big air event at the competition held in Livigno. Based on the outcomes of his three attempts, he amassed 179.50 points. His compatriot, Ryoma Kimata, claimed the second position with 171.50 points. Completing the podium in third place was China’s Su Yiming, scoring 168.50 points.
