On Sunday, an unidentified woman discharged several rounds toward the Beverly Hills residence of pop superstar Rihanna, with one projectile managing to penetrate the mansion’s wall, according to a law enforcement insider.
A representative from the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed receiving a shots-fired call at 1:21 PM on Sunday, leading to the apprehension of a 30-year-old female suspect. At the time of the incident, Rihanna was reportedly inside the property, as noted by the source to the Los Angeles Times.
Police records indicate the suspect fired multiple shots from her vehicle aimed at the celebrity’s dwelling. Sergeant Jonathan de Vera of the LAPD stated that no injuries resulted from the event.
Police radio communications regarding the incident mentioned that “approximately 10 shots” were fired towards the house from a vehicle located across the street from the property’s gates. The audio also suggested that a white Tesla fled the scene following the shooting.
While officers were searching for the Tesla, radio dispatches detailed the suspect’s appearance: her hair was braided, she was wearing a cream-colored blouse, and the vehicle’s undercarriage was dirty.
Law enforcement officers soon located the suspect’s car and followed it to a shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks, where they took her into custody approximately half an hour after the initial emergency call.
Rihanna shares the Beverly Hills home with rapper ASAP Rocky; the couple has three young children: a daughter and two sons.
