In California, a group comprising twenty perpetrators executed a robbery at a jewelry store, making off with nearly two million dollars worth of valuables in a single minute.
The U.S. Department of Justice released surveillance footage clearly showing the culprits, masked in black and wielding hammers, shattering display cases and stuffing backpacks with jewelry estimated to be worth around $1.7 million.
The criminals managed to take approximately eighty percent of the entire stock before escaping in vehicles. To date, authorities have apprehended just four of the twenty individuals involved in the raid.
