Google is broadening the availability of its “Personal Intelligence” feature within its Gemini chatbot. This capability is now rolling out globally, though it excludes users in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the European Economic Area nations.
Google leverages data from its services—such as Gmail, Photos, YouTube, and Search—to generate more precise and tailored responses. For instance, if a user inquires about appropriate tires for their vehicle, the system will independently identify the car’s make and model using cues from Google Photos or emails. If the necessary details are missing, it will prompt the user for clarification. This information comes from 3DNews, citing Android Authority.
Previously, “Personal Intelligence” was exclusive to subscribers of the premium AI Pro and AI Ultra tiers within the United States. Now, the feature will also be enabled for those on the more affordable AI Plus plan, and it will operate across all languages supported by Gemini.
Down the line, the functionality is slated for release even to individuals without any paid subscription. Americans will be the first to gain access to this enhanced personalization, followed by other users with free accounts. While Google has not specified exact dates, they assure that the audience expansion will occur over the coming weeks.
