
George Clooney and his wife Amal made a public appearance together following a significant hiatus. The couple graced the red carpet at the 2026 Charlie Chaplin Awards ceremony, where the actor was honored with a distinction, as reported by Just Jared.
For the event, George Clooney opted for a traditional black suit, while Amal appeared in a mini-dress from Balenciaga. It is worth noting that the last time Amal and George Clooney were seen on a red carpet was in January at the Golden Globes.

George was celebrated at the awards for his “multifaceted career as an actor, director, and producer, alongside his global humanitarian work and reputation as a humble, witty, and principled individual.”
As a reminder, George’s career began in television series. He achieved widespread recognition in 1994 thanks to his role as Dr. Doug Ross in the series “ER.” His major cinematic breakthrough followed his performance in the iconic film “From Dusk Till Dawn” (1996). The actor later solidified his success with roles in “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” (2000) and “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001). His directorial credits include “Good Night, and Good Luck” (2005), “The Ides of March” (2011), and “The Tender Bar” (2021).
