A massive internet outage has been reported worldwide, according to data from Downdetector. The disruption stems from issues with Cloudflare’s servers, which handle approximately 20% of global traffic.
Users are encountering difficulties accessing social media platform X, the forum Reddit, the video conferencing service Zoom, Canva, the game Fortnite, and the Discord platform. These problems are being observed in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Australia, Canada, and Germany.
The last major Cloudflare server failure occurred on November 18, 2025. That incident led to widespread disruptions across numerous internet services, including X, ChatGPT, Spotify, Yandex Music, Reddit, and others. The effects of that technical error were resolved within five hours. However, on December 5, another global Cloudflare service outage took place, lasting half an hour. Less severe access issues with major websites due to Cloudflare problems were also noted in February 2026.
