According to the media staff, some time ago, Windows 11 users began experiencing slower shutdowns on their devices. Following a series of investigations, the cause affecting numerous gadgets was identified as a malfunction in the Windows BITS service.
Researchers explained that Windows BITS is a system service responsible for transferring files in the background and resuming downloads when interrupted. It is likely that this service placed an excessive load on the operating system, preventing computers from shutting down in a timely manner.
