SpaceX’s Starship rocket system completed its 13th test flight, which many in the company described as «devilishly lucky». During this mission, the orbital ship successfully launched 20 test satellites, entered the atmosphere, and for the first time, survived the splashdown in the Indian Ocean. While the first stage (Super Heavy) experienced a more challenging landing in the Gulf of Mexico, with only part of its engines successfully relighting for the return burn, the overall objectives of the flight were largely met. This progress brings the team closer to demonstrating the rocket’s capabilities for complex missions, including potential lunar and interplanetary explorations
