Around 700 naked cyclists rode through the streets of central Berlin. According to Bild, this was the first time such a ride had taken place in the German capital.
The riders reportedly rode 33 kilometers in disguise, passing iconic landmarks such as the East Side Gallery, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Reichstag.
The bike ride organizers emphasized that the participants were not pursuing sexual goals. The event was dedicated to freedom of expression, tolerance, self-love, respect for differences, and care for the environment.
The bike ride in Berlin was part of the international “World Naked Bike Ride,” which has been held in various cities around the world since 2001. This was the first time the event had taken place in the German capital.
