A Windows 11 update released on August 11 has drawn significant criticism from users. Although patch KB5121003 addressed over 400 vulnerabilities, it also introduced new issues, according to Windows Latest.
After installing the update, many users experienced game crashes, errors when signing into their Microsoft accounts, display issues, and even complete system freezes. ARC Raiders and The Finals were particularly affected. Media reports suggest the update broke compatibility with a system driver.
Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and launched an investigation.
