According to a source, the 26-year-old Swede will miss the tournament due to groin discomfort. He sustained the injury during a warm-up.
Duplantis has broken the world record 15 times. In March 2026, he cleared 6.31 meters. This is the best result in world sport to date.
The Swedish athlete is a three-time world champion and four-time European champion. He is a five-time Diamond League winner.
The 2026 Diamond League Final will be held in Brussels, Belgium, from September 4 to 5.
