At the IFA 2026 exhibition in Berlin, Midea launched its SMART MASTER ecosystem, aiming to create a truly connected and intelligent home. The centerpiece is an AI Agent that supports 140 languages, recognizes voice from up to 8 meters away, and responds in just 0.4 seconds. Voice entry points are integrated directly into appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, and ovens, but the system can also be accessed via the Midea app, smart speakers, or in-car systems. The ecosystem features specialized agents: Comfort Agent (adjusts AC, humidity, laundry), Health Agent (suggests meals based on fridge contents), Efficiency Agent (manages energy usage, considering solar power and grid prices), and Service Agent (handles maintenance and provides real-time video support). Midea also showcased Midea Robot, built on the EAGLES architecture with four multimodal models, demonstrating tasks like handling tableware, preparing popcorn, and providing companionship.
