Meta introduced the Ray-Ban Meta Audio — the company’s first smart glasses model without a camera or display. Weighing just 43 grams, the device is engineered around audio quality and AI voice interaction. Open-ear speakers deliver sound without isolating the wearer, and battery life reaches up to 12 hours on a single charge — a significant jump over previous Ray-Ban Meta generations.
Available in two new frame styles — Clubmaster and Burbank — the glasses support prescription lenses and integrate with Meta AI for voice queries, music control, and calls. The camera-free approach addresses growing privacy concerns while keeping the core smart-glasses experience intact. Pricing starts at $349. Meta also announced the third-generation Ray-Ban Meta with a 12 MP camera, 3K video recording, 90% noise reduction via six microphones, and a dedicated AI button, starting at $449. An affordable Meta Adventurer model rounds out the lineup at $249.
