EY reported that it added nearly 10,000 jobs globally in its 2026 financial year as revenue from AI-related services surged almost 50%. The rise in headcount brought the firm’s total workforce to 415,000 employees. Much of this expansion was concentrated in EY’s global entities (also known as global delivery services, including offshoring centers). The surge in AI-related sales reflects that businesses have moved beyond experimentation and are now redesigning their operations, according to EY’s global chair and CEO, Janet Truncale. Overall global revenue rose 4.7% to hit $57 billion.
