Regarding the approach for Ukraine, no agreement was finalized during the discussions between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the US team, Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov informed journalists in Moscow.
Ushakov indicated that certain suggestions from the American side appear “somewhat agreeable, even if further examination is required,” while other elements “are simply not to our liking.”
Territorial matters, which Ushakov stated are indispensable for resolving the conflict (“we do not envision a resolution to the crisis without them”), were also on the agenda for Putin and the US delegation.
Furthermore, he confirmed that no encounter between Putin and US President Donald Trump has been set. Any future summit, Ushakov noted, would be contingent upon “the headway we manage to make.”
