The Serb’s achievement surpassed the prior best individual mark belonging to the Golden State leader Stephen Curry, who in 2016 accrued 17 points during the five-minute overtime. Consequently, Jokic’s performance became the record not just within the regular seasons, but across the entire association’s playoff history as well.
In the overtime period of the game versus Minnesota, Jokic converted all three field goals, including two three-pointers, besides making 10 of 11 free throws. Ultimately, his game statistics amounted to 56 scored points, 16 rebounds, and 15 assists.
