Elon Musk’s company Neuralink has demonstrated another stage in the specific use of its neuroimplants for paralyzed people. The report emphasized that patient Alex Conley, who has a spinal cord injury, was able, thanks to the implant, not only to control devices with the power of thought but also to configure the controller himself for interaction with external electronics. According to Neuralink, chips have now been implanted in 12 volunteers. Specialists view the Neuralink experience as a new stage in the merging of medicine and technology.
