The “Christmas Race,” as always, took place in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. It featured a mass start and a pursuit race.
Janina Hettich-Walz and Justus Strelow completed the distance in 33 minutes and 12.9 seconds. Second place went to the French pair Quentin Fillon Maillet and Fabien Claude. They trailed the leaders by 21.4 seconds. The Norwegians Juni Arnekleiv and Mats Øverby secured third place. Their gap from the top spot was one minute and 12.8 seconds.
