The report on successes spanned 107 minutes (1 hour and 47 minutes), meaning it was a full eight minutes longer than his address in March of 2025. Previously, Bill Clinton held the “record,” speaking before the legislators for 1 hour and 28 minutes.
The current occupant of the White House confidently proclaimed at the outset of his vibrant oration that the United States has become “bigger, better, richer, and stronger than ever before.”
Should anyone harbor immediate skepticism, Trump furnished “compelling” evidence. He cited a successful trade campaign, the primary weapon of which involved tariff threats. These, he suggested, were instrumental in helping him “stop eight wars.”
