Italian culinary experts crafted what is now recognized as the lengthiest tiramisu ever made—a 445-meter dessert that has officially secured a spot in the Guinness World Records. Representatives from the organization confirmed this achievement following its verification, as reported by UPI.
To assemble this record-breaking tiramisu, an immense quantity of ingredients was utilized: 2.2 tons of mascarpone cheese, approximately 50,000 savoiardi biscuits (“ladyfingers”), and over three thousand eggs. The pastry chefs noted that this new figure substantially surpassed the former record, which stood at 273.41 meters.
Mirco Ricci, one of the individuals behind the creation, shared that tiramisu continues to be among Italy’s most cherished sweet emblems: “Tiramisu is the most incredible confection that Italy has exported globally.”
Adhering to Guinness regulations, every stage of the procedure—from mixing the cream base to the final decorative touches—was strictly monitored by adjudicators. Once the dessert was completely finished, the experts immediately commenced the measurement process.
The creators assert that the tiramisu is remarkable not only for its sheer scale but also for its flavor profile; they credit the perfect outcome to “exceptionally good coffee, rich cream, and an abundance of passion.”
Drummer Jason Barnes, who suffered the loss of his right arm in an accident, successfully learned to play the drums using a specialized prosthetic device and set a new record for drumming speed. His notable feat was subsequently registered in the Guinness World Records book.
