Crystal Palace has secured a European trophy for the very first time in their history.
On May 28th, the Eagles triumphed over Rayo Vallecano in the Conference League final with a score of 1-0. The decisive goal, scored in the 51st minute, came from Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Prior to this significant achievement, the English club had never clinched a European title.
Remarkably, the past 12 months have seen Crystal Palace lift three trophies in total. Before their European success, the Eagles had already conquered both the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield.
