UFC’s 13th-ranked welterweight fighter, Serbia’s Uroš Medić (13-3 with 11 KO/TKOs), is set to face the 15th-ranked welterweight in the same division, America’s Daniel Rodriguez (20-5 with 9 KO/TKOs). Their bout will take place at a UFC event scheduled for August 1st in Belgrade, Serbia, as confirmed by the North American promotion’s press service.
Furthermore, on the same fight card, Austro-Serbian competitor Aleksandar Rakić (14-6 with 9 KO/TKOs) will also compete. He is scheduled to fight Poland’s Marcin Tybura (27-11 with 10 KO/TKOs), who is currently the 12th-ranked heavyweight in the UFC. This will mark Rakić’s debut in this new weight class. Previously, Aleksandar fought in the light heavyweight division but has not secured a victory in the organization since 2021, having suffered four consecutive losses.
