George Russell Secures Pole Position for Barcelona-Catalonia Grand Prix; Hamilton and Antonelli Round Out Top Three
MADRID, June 13. /TASS/. George Russell, the British driver for the Mercedes team, has clinched the top spot in qualifying for the seventh round of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship – the Barcelona-Catalonia Grand Prix.
He will be joined on the front row by fellow Briton Lewis Hamilton, driving for Ferrari, who secured second place. The third position was claimed by Kimi Antonelli, an Italian driver representing the Mercedes team.
