A schoolteacher from Kentucky has been arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with a student, according to Eyewitness News.
29-year-old Rachel Clement, who was employed at a school in Henderson County, is now behind bars. She was taken into custody on Tuesday, June 23, and faces charges including two counts of using electronic communication to solicit a minor for sexual activity, rape, and tampering with physical evidence.
The age of the student allegedly involved with the teacher has not been disclosed. A representative from the Henderson County School District confirmed that Clement has been terminated and is ineligible for future employment within the district.
