Brazil’s national team delivered a decisive victory over Scotland in the third round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage.
The match, held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, ended with a scoreline of 3-0.
A brace was scored by Vinícius Júnior for the five-time world champions (in the 7th and 45+3 minutes), while Matheus Cunha added another goal to his tally (in the 60th minute).
As a result, Brazil topped Group C with seven points. Meanwhile, Scotland earned three points and still have a theoretical chance to advance to the playoffs from the third-place position.
