Donald Trump has confirmed that he will be present at the awards ceremony for the FIFA World Cup winner at the invitation of the organization’s president, Gianni Infantino.
“I believe Infantino has done an outstanding job. And yes, he asked me to present the trophy,” Trump stated, as reported by DawnNews English.
The 2026 World Cup will be the first to feature 48 teams. The tournament’s matches will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with the final scheduled for July 19 at the venue in East Rutherford, New Jersey, located near New York City.
