Mayor of New York City, Zahran Mamdani, has issued a warning about a serious threat to residents’ lives due to extreme heat and smog from wildfires in Canada. He shared this announcement on the social media platform X.
According to him, on Thursday, July 16, temperatures in the city are expected to reach up to 33 degrees Celsius. At the same time, New York continues to be shrouded in smog from natural fires in Canada.
